Jackie became a Certified Lactation Counselor, CLC, through the Academy of Lactation Policy and Practice in October 2022. As a CLC, Jackie has the evidence-based knowledge and training to provide clinical breastfeeding counseling and support to families who are thinking about breastfeeding and are looking for more information, or who encounter challenges/problems while breastfeeding. Common breastfeeding concerns she can address include latching difficulty, nipple soreness, plugged ducts, low milk supply, overabundant milk supply, nursing multiples, and weaning. Each family’s breastfeeding journey is unique, and Jackie enjoys working with new mothers to help them achieve their individual breastfeeding goals.
