General Pediatrics
Joy Healey is a board-certified pediatrician. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Boston College and her medical degree from Loyola University in Chicago. After graduation from Loyola, Joy returned to her native Long Island to complete her residency in pediatrics at SUNY Stony Brook. Following an additional year as Chief Resident, she came to Massachusetts to settle. Professionally, she enjoys all aspects of pediatric medicine, but is particularly interested in infant/toddler care, asthma, and childhood injury prevention. Dr. Healey is a certified Child Passenger Safety technician with special training in the proper installation of car seats. Joy’s hobbies include knitting, kayaking, and being with her five children, several of whom are following in her BC footsteps.
Dr. Healey has been honored as the #1 Pediatrician by Readers Choice Awards multiple times.
