 Katherine Trier, MD, FAAP

Katherine Trier, MD is a board-certified general and developmental-behavioral pediatrician who is a  Massachusetts native. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Dartmouth College, with a dual major in Psychology and Spanish. Katherine graduated from Case Western Reserve University Medical School and completed her residency in Pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. While there, she also served in the role of Adjunct Professor in the School of Social Work while implementing a program to address the needs of members of the underserved Latino community in Pittsburgh.

After residency, Katherine returned to Boston to complete a fellowship in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics at Boston Children’s Hospital. She joined our team in a dual role, as both a General Pediatrician and a Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrician.

Dr. Trier loves working with children of all ages and continues to be amazed by how much she learns from her patients on a daily basis.

Katherine has particular interest in sleep disorders, complex grief and trauma, ADHD, learning disorders and genetic disorders. Dr. Trier has received training through the Brazelton Touchpoints Center and completed a Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND) Fellowship. Besides spending time with her husband and 4 young children, she enjoys hiking, swimming, playing the French horn and knitting.
